چکیده
The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, is an important pest of horticultural crops worldwide and has developed resistance against multiple kinds pesticides. To date, information on the to pesticides inadequate for T. urticae populations in Hainan, south China. In current study, we determined seven five field that were collected cucurbit Hainan 2021. results showed high extremely abamectin bifenthrin medium pyridaben, profenofos, cyflumetofen. However, four either susceptible or had only low bifenazate B-azolemiteacrylic. We also frequencies mutations previously associated with abamectin, pyrethroids, organophosphates, bifenazate, pyridaben; mutation as 100% detected some populations. should facilitate development rational strategies chemical control

A link between host plant adaptation and pesticide resistance in the polyphagous spider mite Tetranychus urticae.
Plants produce a wide range of allelochemicals to defend against herbivore attack, and generalist herbivores have evolved mechanisms to avoid, sequester, or detoxify a broad spectrum of natural defense compounds. Successful arthropod pests have also developed resistance to diverse classes of pesticides and this adaptation is of critical importance to agriculture. To test whether mechanisms to o...
متن کاملAdaptation of acaricide stress facilitates Tetranychus urticae expanding against Tetranychus cinnabarinus in China
The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, and the carmine spider mite, Tetranychus cinnabarinus, are invasive and native species in China, respectively. Compared with T. cinnabarinus, T. urticae has expanded into most parts of China and has become the dominant species of spider mite since 1983, when it was first reported in China. However, the mechanism of the demographic conversion has...
متن کاملPesticide resistance of Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Acari: Tetranychidae) in China: a review
This paper reviews the development of pesticide resistance in Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) and studies on the genetics and management of pesticide resistance in China. This mite has developed resistance to at least 25 pesticides in China. It first developed resistance to parathion and demeton. As early as 1962, the level of resistance to demeton in T. cinnabarinus reached 62 times, whic...
متن کاملSpatial distribution and inbreeding in Tetranychus urticae.
In group living, species spatial distribution results from responses to environmental heterogeneity and/or mutual interactions between individuals. These mutual interactions can be regulated by genetic and/or epigenetic factors. In this study, we focus on genetic factors and investigate how the spatial distribution of some individuals colonizing a new environment is influenced by inbreeding. Ou...
متن کاملPhenotypic- and Genotypic-Resistance Detection for Adaptive Resistance Management in Tetranychus urticae Koch
Rapid resistance detection is necessary for the adaptive management of acaricide-resistant populations of Tetranychus urticae. Detection of phenotypic and genotypic resistance was conducted by employing residual contact vial bioassay (RCV) and quantitative sequencing (QS) methods, respectively. RCV was useful for detecting the acaricide resistance levels of T. urticae, particularly for on-site ...
